“Theosophy” is a cool word.
It comes from Greek, Theos + Sophia, meaning “God Wisdom.”
In the early days of history it referred to Christian Theosophy and was synonymous with Theology. It was about knowing God directly.
And if you’re not knowing God directly, what are you even doing spiritually?
Turning yourself into “a god” and outsourcing your own Godness to False Idols like Luciferian Ideology encourages, along with certain sects of KS?
Submitting yourself to sundry entities like in Pagan-Satanic Ideology, and in the AMCC New Age?
If True God isn’t at the core of your Spirituality, it is not “Spirituality.” My personal spiritual journey involved many pitstops with “spiritual people” and “spiritual paradigms” and “spiritual practices,” but they all were lacking God at the center. They were not Spiritual like they claimed. They were nonsense.
I had to discover God on my own.
Unfortunately, this nifty word of “Theosophy” was eventually taken up by the Theosophical Society, who correlated the word with New Agey things like “masters.”
Theosophical Mysticism seems to promote not direct contact with One True God, as with the original Christian (Krystic) meaning, but rather the “wisdom of the many gods” — essentially corrupting the word and making it paganistic and along the lines of Greek, Roman, Viking, etc mythology.
ENQUIRER. What is the real meaning of the term?
THEOSOPHIST. "Divine Wisdom," (Theosophia) or Wisdom of the gods, as (theogonia), genealogy of the gods. The word theos means a god in Greek, one of the divine beings, certainly not "God" in the sense attached in our day to the term. Therefore, it is not "Wisdom of God", as translated by some, but Divine Wisdom such as that possessed by the gods. The term is many thousand years old.
– Theosophical Mysticism
The Christians linked up the word “Theos” to the One True God, thereby leaving Yahweh in the dust … until his influence indirectly found its way back into the teachings with the corruptions of the Council of Nicea and other infiltrations.
His mark was there in the beginning, and found its way to the end: “There are only 2 perfect cubes found in the Bible. One is introduced in the Old Testament and the other near the end of the New Testament.”
But leave it to New Agers to redirect people away from the One True God to their many “gods.” They’ve got nothing better to do than embrace metaphysical entities as their superiors.
At least this is what I understand about “Theosophy” so far. It’s not something I’ve ever participated in, nor something I explored until the word came up recently.
Nowadays, I hear “Theosophical Mysticism” is the term of ridicule tossed around by certain people in the KS Swamp who don’t have a life and don’t seem to understand what it’s like to have rich, robust, full-spectrum experiences in the Human Condition — nor what it’s like to have a living, intimate, direct connection with God as opposed to False Idols and heady Constructs of Creations.
They don’t understand the Human Condition. They try to demean it as “naughty mysticism,” but really, it’s just being a Human. And being a Spiritual Human does not involve either the Lucifieran-Narcissistic or Pagan-Satanic ideologies introduced at the beginning, both of which are Godless.
Those who ridicule basic Humanity betray their own inhumanity.
